Purpose of your role

 You will be a member of a virtual team reporting to the (Senior) Manager of the Department and will work closely with the DC team to which you are assigned and the Operations Technical team.  You will be the assigned process owner for one of the processing teams, expected to acquire a detailed knowledge of the customer journeys, the documentation that support them and for maintaining and updating the procedures. You will be expected to develop and maintain a high level of personal understanding of the systems and processes, and the regulations and reasons behind these processes.


Experience and Qualifications Required

·         Good knowledge of DC Pensions Administration with at least 4 years industry experience and a SME in one of the following areas for UK Pensions: 

o    Transfers

o    Retirements

o    Renewals

o    New joiners

o    Leavers

o    Transactions

o    Record Maintenance 

o    Investments and Payroll contributions

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·         Accuracy and attention to detail essential, with strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential risks

·         Excellent interpersonal, influencing and skills – effective listening and questioning

·         Self-starter, demonstrating a good use of initiative and ability to work independently

·         A passion for learning

·         Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills

·         Training experience  on a one-to-one or small group basis would be desirable

·         Degree educated

·         IMC, IOC or FA2 qualification desirable but not essential
