Overall purpose of role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
§ Responsible for tracking outstanding Issues across different units within Global Markets
§ Responsible for enhancing and maintaining the current application
§ Interact with COOs and various product heads in regions to keep track of pending operational risk control issues.
§ Getting latest updates on the various outstanding issues from issue owners and update the database accordingly
§ Timely escalation of the pending issues to the issue owners/regional COO’s.
§ Generating MIS reports for the weekly Operational Control Meeting
§ Generating presentation packs for COO’s of various products
§ Executing deliverables for Market Supervision team
§ Work on on-going projects in the team
§ Preparation of Management Reports
§ Administration of data, process flows and documentation
§ Production of statistical assessments and presentations
§ Process Improvements through VBA and SQL
Candidate will be required to
§ Work on MIS reports for Markets Risk and Control team
§ Work on BART system development
§ Work on developing tools to assist Market Supervision team in their day to day deliverables.
§ Prepare detailed procedure documents of processes to perform the tasks independently
§ Prepare Robust Backups of the processes, so that in absenteeism BAU does not get impacted
§ Work on adhoc requests from different stakeholders in MRC
§ Responsible for creating efficiencies in existing processes
§ Automation of various tasks/reports using Excel/VBA/SQL/QlikView
§ Work closely with stakeholders in New York, London and Asia
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
Candidate would have to interact with counterparts within MRC team and Business Managers globally. Candidate will have to work with New York and London MRC team to understand the requirements on Projects assigned and deliver the same within agreed timelines.

§ Strong analytical skills – The candidate will have to work with regional teams to understand the requirements. The candidate will have to come up with solutions to implement those requirements and will have to discuss any new changes with the teams in New York and London.
§ The candidate will have to work on their own to come up with solutions for the projects assigned.
