Team

Knowledge Services is the hub of research and analytics for the JLT Group and is based in Mumbai. The Employee Benefit HealthcareAnalytics function is a part of Knowledge Services that supports the agenda of designing, delivering and operating advanced healthcare analytics tools to drive business growth and value for clients of the JLT Employee Benefitsbusiness globally. Key objectives of this team are to:

1.       Understand JLT EB clients’ requirements, leverage data todrive insight and analyses that improves quality and costs of clients’ healthcare and wellness programmes

2.       Build a suite of advanced analytical tools that help identify trends and build forecasts to define healthcare strategies of JLT EB clients

3.       Leverage research and market intelligence to continually come up with better tools that meet requirements of various JLT EB geographies

 

Senior Manager - Healthcare Analytics

Role Requirements

The candidate should-

·         Be able to develop the healthcare analytics vertical by effectively mentoring the team in building and application of tools for JLT Employee Benefits

·         Participate in the EB analytics forums and provide inputs on standard and non-standard analytics solutions related to benefit benchmarking, claims analytics, fraud analytics, ROI analysis, forecasting risks and healthcare costs etc.

·         Interface with key senior stakeholders across all EB geographies to customize core offerings thereby addressing needs of clients locally

·         Leverages business and market understanding to formulate analytics strategy in terms of product conceptualization, prioritization and delivery

·         Build and market healthcare analytics products representing Knowledge Services in key meetings and forums

·         Develop ability of healthcare SMEs and data analysts /senior analysts in the function

·         Build repository of healthcare analytics tools, white papers and research to further build maturity of analytical models

·         Deliver the data projects from conceptualisation to insights for the operating companies across the group

·         Define/develop intellectual property that will be useful for analytics engagements across various geographies for purpose of marketing

·         Enable EB leaders globally to pitch and sell analytics services by appropriately packaging analytics capabilities and tools

·         Demonstrate expertise and robust experience in healthcare  analytics and understanding of insurance

·         Leverage external connections – subject matter experts, consultants, vendors to further build the Knowledge Services analytics proposition

·         Collaborate with the IT and architecture teams to set-up processes related to Data capture/ extraction and maintenance

Technical Skills

·         Experience of 8 – 10  years in the field of insurance, healthcare analytics. Exposure to research services will be an advantage.

·         Exposure to regulatory norms  and benefit packages in employee benefits across key geographies will be beneficial

·         Knowledge of advanced analytics/statistical/data mining techniques such as Regression (Linear, Logistic), Cluster Analysis etc is essential

·         Experience in Data Analytics tools such as SAS, Rand SPSS

·         Hands-on experience in working on large and disperse data sets with experience of SQL and knowledge of data modelling concepts

·         Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to mentor teams on third party tools

·         Experience of leading large projects and programmes especially in an international setting /MNCs will be preferable

General Skills

·         Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills

·         Demonstrated experience of organisational leadership and interaction with senior stakeholders/clients

·         Experience of working in Global/ Cross-cultural teams will be preferred

·         Experience of managing teams is essential
